Similar to other logger patches that connect in series with the handset or headset cord of a digital phone, the TC-100P provides audio output for recording. It also provides a touch tone keypad to send DTMF digits to your recorder, along with the conversations, and an amplifier to boost weak audio. Most digital phones do not produce DTMF tones. With the TC-100P connected to your digital phone, the recorder will detect any numbers you enter on its keypad during a recording and display them just as if you were using an analog phone.
